The Miami Dade Injury Surveillance System guides injury prevention programming efforts through compilation and analysis of local injury data. It is the only comprehensive statistical system available in the county that captures information from more than eight different sources about all causes of injury occurring to residents of the county. The analysis of the data is transformed into fact sheets, reports and user friendly documents for wide distribution.
